Cyber Range
An introduction to the Ohio Cyber Range
Sponsored by the Ohio Department of Higher Education, the Ohio Adjutant General's Department office of the Ohio National Guard, and headquartered at the University of Cincinnati, the Ohio Cyber Range Institute (OCRI) is a state-wide, collaborative network that will support cybersecurity programs across Ohio.
Why it's Important at the Ohio State University
Ohio State faculty can integrate it into their courses to improve the relevance and outputs for the students, i.e., the students can create artifacts which demonstrate their mastery.
Ohio State faculty can contribute to the range and enhance the quality of the state offerings and the broader impacts of their educational efforts (teaching and research). For example, on National Science Foundation proposals, including Range outputs can provide evidence of a well-designed research plan.
