High School Cyber Course interview with ICDT

Nicole Giannetta, ICDT student assistant, recently had the privilege of interviewing Doug Roberts and Christopher Orban about their innovative course, Discrete Mathematics. The class, offered as a rigorous alternative to Algebra 2, combines elements of computer science, cybersecurity, and coding to create an enriching and upcoming curriculum. The real-world applications and critical skills taught are crucial in an age where computer science and cybersecurity are becoming increasingly prevalent. As those fields continue to grow, so does the need for more courses like Discrete Mathematics across both the state, and the country.
