New Fall Activities Released by Cybersecurity for You

Cybersecurity for You, Ohio State's cybersecurity awareness platform for university faculty and staff, has released its latest fall activities. 

Each activity is designed to improve virtual skills and expand understanding of evergrowing cyber threats. Completion of the prompts yields points toward digital awards.

The activities include...

  • Learning how location tracking on your personal devices and social media works.   

  • Finding out how to restrict access to your personal information through app permissions. 

  • Identifying internet-connected toys and discovering their connection to the “Internet of Things.”   

  • Spotting frauds before you start your holiday shopping.   

  • Deciding if vehicle tracking insurance programs are right for you.

The platform can be accessed through any mobile device or computer. New activities are posted quarterly to best suit current events, and maximize outreach and opportunities.
